What this page is for

Playhood is a directory of playgrounds around Melbourne. This page explains what information we collect from people who browse or use the site, and what we do with it.

Information you give us

• Account details. If you sign in, we store your email address and the password you set, so you can log back in later.
• Reviews. If you leave a review on a playground listing, we store the star rating, the comment you write, and, if you choose to include one, the name you enter. Reviews are held for moderation before they are shown publicly.
• Listings. If you are the site admin, listing details you add — name, suburb, description, photo, amenities and contact details — are stored so the listing can be shown to visitors.

What we don't do

We don't sell your information to anyone. We don't use it for advertising. We don't share it with third parties except the hosting and database providers that run the site (see below), who only process it on our behalf.

Where it's stored

Site data is stored in a Neon Postgres database and the site is hosted on Vercel. Both providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms.

Your choices

You can browse the directory and read listings without an account. If you have an account and want it, or a review you've left, removed, reach out to the site admin.
